About Us
The Little Italy Foundation was founded as a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and celebrating the history and culture of Italian Americans. In just two years, we have expanded our initial focus from the Little Italy DSM project to encompass a broader initiative: Little Italy Midwest.
Our vision is to cultivate a vibrant Italian American culture that transcends local enclaves, promoting growth and recognition for communities across the Midwest. We are passionate about advancing our heritage, moving beyond past traditions to address the evolving needs of our culture today.

Building vibrant communities for future generations, inspiring pride and cultural connection.
Fostering regional and international cultural exchange between Italian American communities and Italy.
Advocating for Italian American rights, history, and community representation in public affairs.
Preserving our cultural heritage to educate the public and raise awareness about the unique legacy of Italian Americans.
